Huizhou sits on the southeastern part of Guangdong with Hong Kong
and Shenzhen as her neighbors.
Huizhou is conveniently located within one hour on road between
Shenzhen or Hong Kong.
With convenient transportation and beautiful environment, Huizhou is
a pleasant place to live in . Huizhou covers a total area of 11,200
km2 and has a population of 3,216,300.
Recent years witnessed rapid improvements in infrastructure and the
city has won a number of environmental awards including China's
Excellent Tourist City, National Garden City, National Hygienic
City, and National Model Environmental City. Now the people are
working hard to build Huizhou into a modern city with greater
prosperity and a digital and petrochemicals industrial base.
Under its jurisdiction, there are Huiyang Municipality, Huidong
County, Boluo County, Longmen County, Huicheng District, and two
national economic development zones, namely, Daya Bay Economic and
Technical Development Zone and Zhongkai High-Tech Industrial Park.

humanity. There are six national/provincial scenic spots and natural
reservations including West Lake, Mount Luofu, Mount Nankun, and
Daya Bay.

in Huizhou. Big names in the field have their manufacturing bases
here, SONY, SAMSUNG, LG, LENOVO, TCL, DESAY, FORYOU and COSUN, to
name just a few. According to the Report on Competitiveness of
Chinese Cities by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Huizhou
Municipality was ranked among the 47 most competitive cities out of
200 major cities in China.
